How is Montessori Different?There are many differences between Montessori early education and play-based childcare. The core differences stem from the Montessori Curriculum, Montessori Materials, educator roles, and the Prepared Environment. Montessori Education is designed to provide children with the optimal learning environment to nurture their full potential.
What is the Montessori Difference?
Unlike traditional preschools and childcare centres, Montessori early learning centres are designed to nurture children’s complete development by providing them with the optimal learning environment, educational materials, and teaching guidance to discover their potential.
Montessori learning is largely active, individually paced, often self-correcting, and tailored to the needs and interests of each individual child. The ultimate goal of Montessori education is to prepare children with the knowledge and skills to become confident, independent, and courageous life-long learners

School clubs include: Art and Craft, Taekwondo, Ballet, Soccer, Instrumentation, French, Mad Science, Chess, Scramble, and Ballet, Diction, Swimming, Library, French, Drama, Young Engineers Club and Drama, Press club, and Robotic club.
ADMISSION
Our School admits pupils from Toddlers, Pre-Schools, Kindergartens, and Grade 1-5. We run an age appropriate structure in which children are admitted into classes based on their ages on the last birthday. However, an admission examination is conducted for all new pupils into Grade 1-5 to ascertain their learning levels.
The School Days:
Our school days runs from Monday through Friday.
Children House 1&2 7:00am till 2pm
Nursery 1- 7:00am till 2:pm
Nursery 2- 7:00am till 2:pm
Kindergaten- 7.00am till 2pm
Elementary – 7:00am till 3:pm

Children at Winfield Montessori School have lots of opportunities to go on stimulating, educational field trips. Winfield School is a very open and friendly community of teachers, staff, parents and students. We encourage parents to get involve in all aspects of school life and create fun events
We also have a Montessori library open to all parents who want to learn more about Montessori education and parenting.
